The Responsible Business Alliance is a coalition of companies driving sustainable value for workers, the environment and business throughout the global supply chain. Its members manufacture and source electronics, automotive parts and related goods, and share a common Code of Conduct covering labour, health and safety, environment, ethics and management systems.
This community activates UNTP for that supply chain. The intent is that an assessment carried out once against the RBA Code can be relied on by many downstream customers, rather than being re-sent, re-formatted and re-audited for each of them.
The Validated Assessment Program (VAP) is the RBA’s audit protocol, delivered by approved audit firms and producing a facility-level assessment outcome. Expressed as a UNTP conformity credential, that outcome becomes something a customer can verify cryptographically and interpret without access to RBA systems.
This community is distinct from Responsible Mineral Smelters and Refiners, which covers upstream minerals assurance through RMAP. The two were previously registered together and are now separate, because they serve different parts of the value chain and different member groups.
Not production ready. These credentials are suitable for pilots and evaluation, not for production use, because it extends UNTP 0.7.0, which is pre-release and conformance has not been tested.

Industry-led coalition governance with RBA-managed standards, the Code of Conduct, and the Validated Assessment Program delivered through approved audit firms.
